The Kelukoskenmaa industrial area is a new business park planned by the municipality of Sodankylä, located approximately 3.5 kilometers north of the village center along Jeesiönratsutie.

Tähtikunta Oy is a subsidiary of the municipality of Sodankylä that offers a wide range of industrial, commercial, office, and warehouse premises for rent or sale. The company can also build facilities for businesses on a contract basis and participates in business development work as needed.

Tähtikunta Oy owns and manages several properties, such as industrial halls, office and commercial premises, and the infrastructure of Sodankylä Airfield. For example, the company has a winter testing center located at the airfield available for short-term rental.
